And regardless of whoever guiding that artist if they can't get the big wigs attention on the raw shit we like listen to instead of the bullshit then, it wouldn't be a reason for this rant.
I'm sure Rakim, KRS, or any of them can get a label started right now if they wanted to. And they made classics and record labels today know that. But can THEY have the time and effort to persuade the the major label about a artist they discovered they know is dope and trust them that if they mentor them, coach them, show them the ropes that they'll sell platinum in a week?

Bottom line: It's the INDUSTRY fault. Not the artist. Not Rakim's, KRS, or Kool G's fault for the artist today making microwave music, it's the INDUSTRY. Because THEY feel that's what the audience today want. The R knows that, KRS knows that, and every other lyrical legend knows that. That's why they remain to spit what they know to crowds and people who know.

Microwave music comes in: gimmicks, corny ass dances, rhymes about something that doesn't require you to think too hard.
