VIMBY and Uponthingz.com present The New Classics mixtape, produced by Cook Classics and executive produced by Mario Rangel and Cook Classics, droppin Feb. 18th. VIMBY and Cook are hosting a contest giving an emcee a chance to get featured on a bonus track for the mixtape. Go to The New Classics Community on IMEEM to download the instrumental, record your verse, and upload it back on The New Classics imeem page. The winner will be chosen by 2dopeboyz, the good folks over at Vimby.com, and Cook Classics. Submissions end Feb. 14th.

The following are some details on the "Show and Prove" contest we announced earlier this week. Good Luck.

In order to enter artists must register at Brooklyn Bodega.
Once registered send your submissions to this showandprove@brooklynbodega.com.
No mp3 or video files will be accepted.
Any large files sent to us will be blocked by our server and therefore not considered.

All submissions must either be uploads (zshare, yousendit, etc.) websites, or Myspace pages. Submissions should also include live performance footage (also via upload) and additional content including bio and images.

We will select 5 artists per month to show their skills at Public Assembly

If selected to show your skills you will be contacted by one of our staff. Please only submit once. You will be eligible to perform at any of the three events with one entry. More details will follow.
