"I would love to see that." "I can recognize talent" "heads who grew up in that era can RECOGNIZE talent" "oh, I didn't even know you were on the track cuz Andre was too busy rippin' it" droppin' albums is only helping out the situation in YOUR cause. On the real, very very very very very few people are checking for those albums drop UNLESS you are over the age of 25. And kent said it himself, Hip Hop is getting younger so if you want to steer the shit in the right direction, you need to steer the young artists in the right direction. I'm right!

I listened to that WHOLE INTERVIEW. And you know what? It's no different what Clark Kent said than what I said in my first post. Quote:
In layman terms: SKILLS.

look what kent is saying he does nothing but rant for a good couple of minutes saying, "I want to find the next blah blah" IF YOU REALLY WANT TO DO THAT.... get the fuck behind a desk and find and mold the artists that DO get busy. Ay Blaze/Kent don't you think something is wrong when artists like Saigon are CONTINUOUSLY pushed the fuck back, yet Soulja Boy can drop whatever he wants whenever he wants. You have a BETTER chance and MORE of control of being behind that desk than you do by droppin an album. WHO IS THE BETTER TEACHER BLAZE? 1. The teacher that throws a bunch of books at his students tellin em, "here lil nigga read that shit and you'll recognize what's good and what not" or 2. the teacher that sits down with his students and helps them go over the material and why so and so is important. don't front you KNOW #2 is better.

I KNOW who can really spit and who really can't. They blogging now today, but the thing is CAN YOU SPIT that CRACK SHIT that had niggas fiending for Rakim, KRS, Kool G albums when they dropped? Most of the younger audience don't care about lyrics. Some do, but me and you know the majority don't. And why does MC's like Rakim and others you mentioned hanging they mics up gotta do the job and steer them? They can buy or better yet download those classic albums THEMSELVES and LEARN why these MC's were so revered and soak up that, and fix it around their style to keep it fresh, kinda like mixing the old with the new, but more updating. That's a fucking poor excuse for them to say "show us" and it's right in their faces. It's like you got a geometry book and you wanna learn geometry, but the book isn't gonna pick up itself. You know why they don't do that? Too fucking lazy to write and think of clever shit...that's why. Clark Kent knows his shit. And he's right..they too busy blogging instead trying to teach themselves from the architects of Hip Hop. NUFF SAID. *wipes off bloody javelin*

..rhetorical question: So you telling me someone like Rakim gotta sit down with someone like for example,...Yung Berg to show him HOW to write lyrics instead of just listen to "Paid In Full", or "Follow The Leader"? I never heard Jay, Nas, Lupe, Common, Black Thought, etc..in ANY interview they were in saying "I wanted to be a dope MC blah, blah, blah, but in order for me to learn, I needed Kool G, Slick Rick, blah, blah, to sit down with me to go over the fundamentals with me.." They LISTENED to albums when they were young and learn the flows, cadences, rhyme patterns and when they decided this is what I wanted to do they added their own swag, style, etc.. etc.. Still boils down. Laziness and gimmicks in some of today's music is what shifting the dope MC's like Saigon to the side (plus that gay ass clip of him flexng..LOL) When a teacher talks, a student listens.

That generation of pickin up albums and STUDYING shit is long and dead. Just like how when crack hit it WIPED out an entire generation. Shit is dead so its time to start from scratch. Somewhere along the line OLD HEADS fucked shit up allowing shit like "bling bling" hit the airwaves. You and I both know that SAME track wouldn't have made airplay before 98. you know something is REAL fucked up when you got REAL niggas that can spit are sittin on they ass bloggin 24/7 these are the SAME niggas that PRAISE Big, PRAISE JAY, PRAISE pac. Please Blaze, I can understand why boys like Yung Berg and shit are bloggin but Blaze you and I BOTH know that Saigon and Joe BUdden knows what the fuck is REAL. Hell Budden dropped YouTube - Joe Budden-Dum Out no sane nigga on this EARTH can front on that shit. So please explain to me why that nigga STAYS with his sorry ass joe budden tv and going back and forth with cats like ransom who shouldn't get the TIME of day? WHY BECAUSE THAT GENERATION is FUCKED UP. That's where the parents MUST come in and correct shit. Like I said, who's more effective, the teacher that just throws books at you and tells you to study the shit on your own time OR the teacher that takes the time to sit down with and guide you throw the shit??!??!?!?!?!!?!? blaze, the same niggas you praise for their lyrics had MENTORS guiding them and shit. them niggas weren't just saying, "yo study the shit on ya own youngin" LMAO WHAT DID KENT SAY AGAIN BLAZE? "Dre had Snoop." "Mr C had BIG." "Johnny Jay had 2pac." those 3 MENTORED AND GUIDED them. Somewhere along the line, we lost that so its time for Jay-Z,Nas, and every other emcee that can "get busy" to get busy behind that desk and fix up those labels. lol @ you wiping off ya bloody javelin while your body is leaning slumped Kennedy-style with your memory out:rolleyes: Quote:
Jay and Nas in NUFF interviews both praise ENOUGH cats for taking the time out to just hang out with them. How many times did you hear Jay thanking Jaz for takin him under his wing....I can FIND you the videos of him doing that. Jay thanked Dame at one point as well. you're takin this as, niggas need to teach mafuckas how to wipe they ass and clean up the shit and some shit.

So you just admitted that niggas today are LAZY to study.. And that "Bling, Bling" shit has been in since the '80's, niggas back then that was listening couldn't afford that shit Rakim and Kane was rocking around their necks at the time and prior to that the gangsta era (peep NWA "Straight Outta Compton") was on the rise and rose. And the origin of the "Bling, Bling" epidemic. ..for some reason some New York music mogul (hint: He don't write rhymes he write checks) figured through talking about luxurious living on MC's means that you're just as skilled and it went through Big's mental Rolodex then you have "Juicy", "One More Chance" (remix) to "Life After Death (1997)" to Jay-Z's mental Rolodex (peep "Reasonable Doubt" which came out in 1996) and it became an epidemic... Who said that studying albums was dead and gone? Your subconscious can die prematurely and you'll fall dead without warning from succumbing to the bullshit of today.. Stay away from that light, 5th! Big studied "The Chronic" and "The Diary" and created.... "Ready To Die". Jay-Z studied "The Diary", "Long Live The Kane", "Hard To Swallow" "Super Tight" "Ready To Die" and "Illmatic" and created..."Reasonable Doubt"... Snoop studied the whole early Ruthless catalog(from NWA to DOC) "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted" and Too Short's catalog, and created.."Doggystyle"... You see where I'm getting at? They had guides alright...on SONGWRITING, not the RAW TALENT. Big..RAW TALENT. Snoop..RAW TALENT. 2Pac..RAW TALENT. They didn't need to be guided for their raw talent in dropping dope lyrics but how to write SONGS...where the RAW TALENT came from? Studying the classic albums they listened to. They didn't need any guides to do that. They did it on for themselves because that's what they wanted to do... And as far as Saigon and Joe Budden? Think: BLACKBALLED. Some shady shit is always going on in the industry. Remember #4080? Saigon beefing with Mobb Deep. Who's Mobb Deep boss? 50 Cent. Don't think 50 didn't make arrangements with someone at Atlantic and got his album shelved and Saigon's refusal to succumb to "industry politricks".. Joe Budden had problems with Jay-Z. Call Hov out on a few songs..think. Jay got money, power and you know the rest...click. Budden career is at a standstill.. Say again? What's the excuse again. LAZY. Lazy, lazy, lazy. Ya reign on top was short like leprechauns. Sorry.
